Parkvale was founded in 1898 by a group of local football enthusiasts in the east end of Aberdeen. They were first in Aberdeen to have a supporters and social club which is still thriving at 16 Kings Street, Aberdeen. The club's original ground was Central Park, Kittibrewster (next to the old livestock mart), and the club then moved to Linksfield Stadium but a reconstruction programme forced the club to move to Findon Park (former home of Bon Accord who hadmoved out to purpose-built Keith Park) where they have been since the mid-1990s.
